***UPDATED: Ground Zero in the nation's abortion debate moved from Aurora, Illinois to South Bend, Indiana this weekend when President Barack Obama delivered the commencement speech at the invitation of Notre Dame.
The invitation from a Catholic-based institution for someone that strongly supports abortion rights has caused a reaction from many and protests at Notre Dame.
Much of the criticism is about Notre Dame and their role in honoring Obama and not necessarily opposing Obama's speech itself.

I am am African American who understands the difference between allowing someone to speak out of reverence for the office of President of the United States versus honoring and lauding them when they have actually done everything they can throughout their political career to destroy the most basic tenet of the Catholic and Christian faith "the sanctity of human life", go to the website priestforlife.org and see what abortion does to unborn babies. Obama has stood unashamedly for this and even for letting babies die if they happen to survive a botched abortion, not one, not two, but three times. Why because he has sworn allegiance to and received huge campaign contributions from the "Dead Babies R Us" crowd like Planned Parenthood and Naral. He has stood firm for the genocide of his own race, which has three times more abortions than we are the percentage of the US population (12% population vs 36% of the abortions). He has NEVER seen an abortion bill he did not like, even partial birth abortion was just fine with him, something Hillary even voted against (thank God he wasn't in the US Senate at the time it came up for a vote). You don't know the kind of pride he will take in bringing down the principles of the Catholic church which is one of the strongest allies innocent, unborn babies have in this country. He will relish this thinking, "you see I was right all along, even their Catholic university is honoring me". And people thought George W. Bush was arrogant, I think he made big mistakes that is for sure, but I don't think he could even top Obama.

There are white women out there that do the same thing. I know of three that have had mutiple children that the state has paid for and even planned them. One of these do not even have one of them in her custody. None have never been married and all of them had different fathers for their children.
